Overview

This split-level apartment on Rue Henner is on the ground floor. Two of the bedrooms are occupied by the landlords, and part of the downstairs space is used to teach English to students on weekday afternoons. Otherwise it’s a large and wonderful apartment. On the main floor, you’ll find a sleek and modern kitchen, a dining area, a spacious living room and access to a garden patio. Downstairs is more open concept, with a fully-equipped kitchenette and a second living area with a sofa and TV. There is a bathroom on this floor, as well, as the bedroom that is being rented.

This apartment is situated on Rue Henner, a quiet street placed in the heart of a lively neighbourhood. The 9th arrondissement may be known for its theaters, but your new home is also close to a number of museums. For starters, the Romantic museum is just up the street, and the Gustave Moreau National Museum is just 4 minutes from your door. Of course, if you want theaters, then you’re pretty close to the most famous cabaret in Paris. The Moulin Rouge is just an 8-minute walk away. With galleries, nightclubs, cafés, bars and restaurants around every corner, you certainly won’t find yourself with a lack of exciting things to do here. And, don’t worry, there are banks, pharmacies and grocery stores in the neighborhood too!

What we liked the most

  • The common areas in the apartment are large and the patio looks like a beautiful place to hang out in warm weather.
  • The night life buzzes all around you in the 9th, but the street itself is quiet and peaceful.
  • Although there are grocery stores and small markets, there are tons of restaurants too.
  • You are very well connected to public transportation in this neighborhood.
