This 7th floor 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Via Teodoro Mommsen is perfect for working professionals. The apartment opens directly into a spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen has a dishwasher and is equipped to meet all your needs, and there is a 4-seat table where you can enjoy a meal. The living room is perfectly relaxing with a large sofa, flat screen TV and sunny windows with 2 balconies: one small and one large. The largest balcony runs along the building to the bedroom, although you can also enter that space through the interior corridor, where you’ll also find the laundry room and a bathroom with a shower stall and shelving.
Appio Latino isn’t the most central district in Rome, but it’s a quiet residential area where you can return to after a busy work day. However, your apartment is well connected to downtown Rome and public transit will get you to the city center within 25 minutes. Unless you are sightseeing or meeting up with friends, there's little need to leave the neighborhood. Caffarella Park is a beautiful green space right around the corner, and a great space for a stroll or a jog. There is a gym just 4 minutes away, as well as shops, banks and bookstores, and even a Carrefour supermarket within a 3-minute walk.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is very spacious and has two sunny balconies.
- It's very close to Caffarella Park, which is not only a beautiful green space but also is an archaeological site.
- There is a gym nearby, which is excellent if you want to stay in shape.
- This is a residential area, but it has easy access to all the tourist hotspots downtown.
