Ostiense is an area that hasn’t quite reached the height of other Roman districts, but crowds are beginning to recognize the neighborhood’s restaurants and nightlife scene as the next hip place to be. The area is up and coming, not only because of its atmosphere, but also due to the construction of the new University, Roma Tre. Ostiense is full of typical Roman restaurants and prides itself on being one of the neighborhoods where young people love to relax and hang out with friends. You can also find a vast train station that ensures easy access to the rest of Rome. It really makes one wonder how Ostiense stayed off the map for so long!
