Neighborhood information

Tiburtina is home to the second largest train station in all of Rome. Its strategic position keeps the neighbourhood well-connected to the rest of the city and makes commuting and traveling easier for residents. On the majority of Friday and Saturday nights, many of Tiburtina’s streets become pedestrian-only and you can see Romans enjoying themselves into the early hours of the morning. This is an area of predominantly inexpensive high-rise apartments dating back to the economic book of the 1950s. You will come across a little bit of everything along the main street of Tiburtina; whether you are looking for clothing, food or antiques, you are sure to find it here. The district is also scheduled to be redeveloped in the near future.
