General info

Description

Rooms are available to rent in this newly renovated, 50 m², 2-bedroom apartment on Via Conte di Carmagnola in Prenestino. The apartment has a brand new kitchen (so new that you can still see the plastic coating on the cupboard doors), with a gas stove. There is also a dining table, so that you can sit and eat and get to know your new housemates. The bathroom is also brand new, and includes a spacious shower, washbasin, bidet, and toilet.

The area that you will be living in is quite residential, but there are plenty of useful shops nearby including several grocery stores. There are lots of restaurants in the area, along with a few bars. There is a small park, Parco delle Energie, nearby, where there is also a rock climbing club.

Neighborhood information

Pigneto is an urban district outside of the touristic areas of Rome and is full of students who contribute to the lively atmosphere. The graffiti and train tracks may give it a less attractive look, but it is widely loved by its residents for the variety of entertainment options. Despite the urban feel, Pigneto is perfectly safe as with most of Rome’s neighbourhoods. Pigneto has an excellent variety of cafes, wine bars and restaurants, including some up and coming hip restaurants for those who like to be at the front line of new culinary trends!

What we liked the most

  • Everything in the apartment is newly renovated, so the place is spotless.
  • The dining table in the kitchen is a great place to sit and get to know your flatmates.
  • There are lots of convenient shops nearby.
  • British expats will be over the mood to find The British Corner, a tea house, just a short walk away.
