The property has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom that you will be sharing with one other tenant, and the live-in landlord, on the rare occasion he stays at the property.

The apartment is located on Largo degli Osci in San Lorenzo, one of the most lively neighbourhoods in Rome. This is where you will find the quirky bars and authentic pizzerias, along with independent boutiques and little markets. The area is also popular amongst students due to its proximity to the Sapienza University which is under 15 minutes away.

What we liked the most

  • This apartment is spacious, with high ceilings and large, airy rooms.
  • The property is decorated throughout with quirky artwork and colourful furniture - your eyes will never be bored.
  • You will be living in San Lorenzo - where everyone (apart from tourists) wants to be in Rome.
  • Sapienza University is under 15 minutes away.
  • Termini, Rome's main railway station, is a short 20-minute walk from the apartment.

Things to keep in mind

  • At the moment there is no elevator in the building, but one is due to be installed soon.
  • Since Spotahome visited this property, the landlord has made some changes. The living room seen in the video has been converted into a second bedroom, and other minor changes have also been made. The landlord has kindly provided us with photos of these changes, which can be seen in the photoreel at the top of the page.
