This 5-bedroom apartment has rooms available to rent and is situated in on Via Cilicia in the historic Appio Latino neighbourhood. The 160 m² apartment is newly renovated, filled with brand new furnishings and fittings. There is a balcony, accessible from both the huge living room, and also from bedrooms 3 and 4.

This is a fantastic neighbourhood to be living in. You can go for a stroll along the Via Appia Antica nearby, stopping off here and there for a refreshing drink in a roadside cafe in an ancient building. Then leave the road, and enter the Parco della Caffarella. You can spend hours in this vast open space, seeking out ancient ruins, or just walking in the sun.

For more day-to-day activities, you can head northeast into the main part of the Appio Latino neighbourhood. Here you can find your local post office and pharmacy, grocery stores, and some nearby restaurants and bars.

What we liked the most

  • We love the balcony, accessible from bedrooms 3 and 4, and the living room, with views of parks at both ends.
  • The huge living room will be a fantastic place to get to know your new housemates.
  • With 2 full bathrooms between the 4 bedrooms, you shouldn't have to queue for the bathroom in the mornings
  • Living near to Parco della Caffarella, you'll have to enjoy the outdoors; this vast open space, dotted with ancient ruins and bisected by the beautiful Via Appia Antica is somewhere you'll be spending a lot of time.

Things to keep in mind

  • Although the apartment is close to a main road, it has double glazing in all the windows, so remains quiet inside.
  • There is no oven in the kitchen, but there is a 4-burner gas stove and a microwave.
  • The landlord occasionally stays on the property, in the 5th bedroom (until it is rented in January 2018).
