Neighborhood information

Built in the 1930s, Parioli is a safe and residential area that has the best of both worlds: it has a wide variety of popular restaurants and a vibrant nightlife, but it is a part of the city that still maintains a quiet atmosphere. This area of the city is situated away from many sites in Rome and though it lacks a metro system, it has a bus system nearby and plenty of taxis that will take you to the historical center of Rome. Locals enjoy a varied selection of bars, fine restaurants, green spaces and public parks; it is one of the most elegant parts of the city and in fact, some consider it to be the most luxurious. The new music auditorium, Parco della Musica, designed by the architect Renzo Piano, has brought new life to the area.

Flatmates

The other girls living there are between the ages of 25-40.

What we liked the most

  • This is a big room with plenty of storage and a beautiful bookshelf!
  • The room has its own access to the apartment’s huge balcony and is surrounded by beautiful green scenery.
  • There are two bathrooms, so there will be a lot less time waiting in the morning when getting ready for work/school!

Things to keep in mind

  • The washing machine is quite small, but is in the first bathroom and out of the way.
  • The double bed is up on a loft, but there is a sofa bed on the floor which is more easily accessible or can be used to host guests.
