Neighborhood information

Stretching from the Piazza del Popoloto Piazza Venezia and the the east bank of the Tiber up to Piazza di Spagna, Centro Storico is the true representation of everything beautiful in Rome. With its countless churches, narrow streets, and traditional squares, the picture-perfect neighborhood is mostly pedestrian-friendly and a must-see for those visiting the Eternal City. Though parking is difficult to come by and there are only four Metro stops, the bus service in the area is quite efficient and accessing other parts of Rome isn't too difficult with this district as a base. The center is an ideal destination for shopping lovers and for those seeking a lively and enjoyable nightlife scene. Among the monuments found in the Centro Storico are the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars to keep everyone busy.

Flatmates

The manager of the flat (not the landlord) occupies the 4th bedroom.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment enjoys a great location to explore the historical centre of Rome, being within walking distance to attractions such as the Fontana di Trevi and Piazza di Spagna.
  • The bright kitchen has been recently renovated and has a dining table.
  • There is a small balcony overlooking an interior patio, where you can dry your clothes.
  • The apartment comes with all you need to cook your meals, including a gas stove and an oven.
  • There are 2 bathrooms; 1 is to be used only by bedroom 3, and the other to be shared by bedrooms 1 and 2.
  • All windows are double glazed, insulating most of the street noise.

Things to keep in mind

  • The apartment doesn't have a living area, but there is a hall furnished with 2 sofas, providing tenants with a space to relax outside of their rooms.
