Benimaclet is a clear example of the rapid expansion that Valencia has experienced in the last 50 years: though originally separated from the rest of Valencia, it has since become an exciting and ethnically diverse area similar to Russafa and is considered as one of the most authentic areas of the city. Like Russafa, Benimaclet is a great area for students (the Mercadona supermarket in the area carries more products from EU than any others market!), as one can find a blend of small and local businesses that are becoming popular in many hip and modern neighborhoods.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is a beautiful space with high ceilings, big windows, hanging light fixtures and plants, and stylish furniture pieces.
  • The apartment is equipped with modern amenities such as a washing machine, flat-screen TV, and an AC unit.
  • Bedroom 1 has a small balcony and huge built-in wardrobe.
  • Bedroom 2 has an additional pull-out bed, so it can sleep 2 people.
  • Both bedrooms have additional storage underneath the bed.
  • You have plenty of supermarkets, shops, and banks within a 5-minute walk.
  • The beach is only a 5-minute tram ride away!

Things to keep in mind

  • The building does not have an elevator, but luckily the apartment is only on the 1st floor.
