Algirós houses the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia as well as the Campus de Tarongers of the Universitat de Valencia. Tarongers is home to the Social Sciences, Education, Law, and Economics departments of the university, as well as other research, audiovisual, and sports facilities. In Algirós you’ll find 3 main plazas: the Plaça del Cedro, Plaça de Hondures, and the Plaça del Xúquer where you can find plenty of bars and pubs. This area is ideal for those wanting to have their classes and nightlife all in vicinity to each other. In addition to the nightlife aspect, you’ll find an excellent selection of places to have tapas. The concentration of university campuses makes Algirós one of the most exciting and young areas of the city. Algirós also has efficient public transportation connections to the rest of the city and to the beautiful beaches of Valencia!

What we liked the most

  • The terrace is quite large and complete with a washing machine. It has a great seventh floor view of the University and the street. And don't you worry, the building has a fully functioning elevator.
  • As the University of Valencia is moments away, those studying or working in this institution will have an easy commute!
  • The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a large fridge, cupboards, drawers and all necessary amenities, including a dishwasher. There will be no more dirty dishes piling up! The kitchen also has a beautiful sliding door that saves up a lot of space.
  • The dining room has an extendable table, which is great for when you'll bring over guests.
  • The bathroom is complete with all necessary amenities - it comes with a big glass-bowl sink you can sometimes find in hotel rooms.
  • All bedrooms are extremely sunny as the flat is on the 7th floor - the area isn't surrounded by tall buildings, so you will be able to get plenty of sunlight shining through.

Things to keep in mind

  • The chairs in the living room will be replaced with a sofa upon your entry.
