Camins al Grau
Your home between the beach and the city centre
Overview
Sun. Beach. Shopping. Architecture.
Living in Camins al Grau, you get the very best of Valencia.
Easy access to the mediterranean beach and the city centre. And the sinuous green snake that is the Jardí del Túria park. And the imposing sci-fi fantasy that is the Ciutat de les Arts i les Cièncias.
Sound like your thing?
What can I do here?
Go to Jardí del Túria...
This 8-kilometre long park is in an old riverbed. Trees, flowerbeds, hedges, bridges and sculptures make it the best place in Valencia to walk, run or bike. You can also reconnect with your inner child at Parque Gulliver. Google it.
Visit the stunning architecture of Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. It's a marvel of modern design. And it looks like a Geiger spacecraft sunk into a blue lagoon. Awesome.
Wander to Playa de las Arenas to swim and soak up the sun on the beach. The promenade is lined with bars and restaurants. Sit down to a real Valencian paella as night falls and the locals come out to play.
Blue Marina is a rooftop bar overlooking the city, the beach, the sea, the stars. Drinks start at €7 for a gin, rum or whisky. The drinks menu is ample, and they serve tapas too. Fried cheese with forest fruits for €5? We're in.
Foodie fact:
Valencia's most renowned dish, paella, originated here in the 19th century. Be sure to try some – for an authentic paella, get yourself invited to a Valencian friend's house on a Sunday.
