Everyone has a bucket list. That’s the list of things we plan to do before we die. Although we all have different interests and goals, there is usually one main item on all bucket lists that we all have in common. Travel. I know that I’ve always wanted to travel to some exotic, beautiful place, bask in all of its awesomeness and take in all that it has to offer. But where should we go to find adventures like this? There are so many beautiful places in the world to choose from but the decision to travel is definitely not an easy one! Here are 7 international landmarks you must see before you die.

Eiffel Tower, France

It’s no surprise that this beautiful sight is number one on the list. The Eiffel Tower is an architectural wonder that attracts more tourists than any other attraction in the world. I have been here before and let me tell you, it is one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring places I have ever seen! You just can’t miss it! This architectural wonder was built in 1889 and is made of puddle iron. It also has three platforms and provides a full panoramic view of the beautiful city of Paris. Loved by romantics and historians alike, this awesome structure is most intriguing at night. The tower has 20,000 light bulbs that illuminate every hour from sunset to 1am. It is definitely an awesome sight to see!

The Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai

Dubai is home to some crazy architectural designs. Their cities are full of stylistic buildings you never dreamed would be possible to create! This is definitely the place to go to see something unique and incredible! This hotel specifically is the definition of luxury. This is landmark property in Dubai that is iconic and one you must see in person. Sitting on its own island and surrounded by water, this hotel features luxurious suites overlooking the sea, a full-service spa and nine unique restaurants. In addition, Dubai’s data centers, like the Cologix centers in Toronto, are equipped with top of the line technology to ensure the guests at this hotel have a great connection with network providers in the area. With its floor to ceiling windows and panoramic views of the gulf, you sure don’t want to miss out on the beauty and impeccable services offered at this sail-shaped resort.

Sydney Opera House, Australia

This iconic landmark in Australia was built in 1959 and it took 10000 builders to accomplish it. The architecture of this building is a beautiful sight to see. Its style is Expressionist Modernism and the glass used is unique to the Sydney Opera House. This place hosts over 3000 events annually. Upon visiting, you are offered a guided tour and there are three restaurants to choose from including a cafe, an espresso bar and theater bar. I definitely can’t think of a better way to become more cultured than to go to the Sydney Opera House to see a performance. As soon as you walk in you become the definition of sophistication. When it comes to your bucket list this is one place you simply can’t miss!

Tower Bridge, England

This suspension bridge in England has become the symbol of London. Sitting over the River Thames, the bridge hosts a glass walkway and is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. One of the most intriguing things about this bridge is the bascules that open to allow passing boats underneath. Through the glass walkway, you can see this amazing sight as well as other beautiful views of the city. This bridge is definitely something that you don’t want to miss! Also, England isn’t just known for the tower bridge! There are so many other incredible sites out there for you to see!

Millau Viaduct Bridge, Southern France

This is the tallest bridge in the world reaching a height of 1,125 ft. Just at the base of this bridge, the visitor center opens at 10 am daily and allows you to get a great lesson in the history of the bridge as well as the surrounding areas. I would say that this is a perfect site for the history buffs in your family. There is nothing better than learning about all of the new sites you visit. Also, the service area off of the A75 motorway is the best place to see the magnificent views of the valleys below so be sure to bring your camera! It is truly a sight to see as this bridge looks like boats sailing in a sea mist as the clouds rise and cover it.

The North Cape, Norway

This extraordinary place is where the Atlantic and frigid Arctic Ocean waters meet. It’s located in Northern Norway and its main attractions are the North Cape plateau and Knivskjellodden. (Try saying that ten times fast!) The St Johannes Kapell, is also here and is popular with brides looking for an awesome wedding venue. If you are winter enthusiast, you are free to explore the snowy landscapes on a snowmobile. There’s also ice fishing and ATV adventures!

Christ The Redeemer, Brazil

Last but not least is a visit to the largest art deco sculpture in the world. Christ the Redeemer weighs over 700 tons and sits atop the Corcovado Mountain in Brazil. When reaching the summit, there are 220 steps to climb to arrive at the statute itself. As of 2006, a small chapel was built at the statute for weddings and baptisms. This makes it a popular location for weddings and the views of Rio De Janeiro are spectacular!
