Ok, so you are that type of person who needs a caffeine fix before life begins, right? And you’ve probably tried the standard **[London](http://www.spotahome.com/london)** coffee shops and are slightly unimpressed? Well, if you live or have a visit planned to London, here are some **REALLY secret coffee shops** around the English capital and they’re (some of) my favourites!
## **Barber & Parlour **
Ever wished to be able to watch a movie, get a haircut, spoil yourself with a manicure, enjoy a meal,… all while sipping exceptional coffee? Well, if you do, **[Barber & Parlour](http://www.barberandparlour.com/)** is your place. Check it out on Redchurch St, in East London.

## **Iris & June
The area of Victoria was probably the one that most needed some **real** coffee beyond the usual global chains in central London, so **Iris and June** was more than welcome when they opened their doors and this beautiful and minimalist cafe, just a few minutes away from the busy station.

## **Coffee Circus**
This is was one of my latest caffeine finds in London and I wished I had found it before because this is a truly special spot. Coffee Circus is a family-owned, independent coffee shops serving great caffeine-fuelled drinks and some truly amazing snacks and pastries. The ambience and decorations alone deserve a visit. Make sure to say hi to the clowns for me ?

## **Market Cafe**
If you live or you are visiting London, a stroll to Broadway Market is *mandatory* as well as a flat white or your coffee of choice from**[Market Cafe](http://www.market-cafe.co.uk)**. Enjoy sipping it at one of the tables alfresco or in the light-filled indoor space.

## **Milk Bar Soho**
Far from being a secret spot, **[Milk Bar](http://www.milkbarsoho.co.uk)** is probably one of the most famous (with a good reason) coffee shops in London, but no post is complete without ts mention, so here it is. Make sure to get your caffeine fix from here while in SoHo.

If it wasn’t for the coffee, I’d have no identifiable personality whatsover.
