Browse Facebook groups, check out Meetup, or simply do a Google search to connect with fellow expats in your city. You’ll be surprised how many of them are experiencing the exact same feelings. By being there for each other, you’ll be building strong bonds of friendship as well as reducing your symptoms.

Pause and take deep breaths regularly

Our thoughts can easily overwhelm ourselves and we often don’t exactly know how to get back on track. One of the biggest disadvantages of living abroad is not having access to professional help in your language - depending on where you live, of course.
