1. Les Terrasses de Lyon
Address: 25 Montée Saint-Barthélémy, 69005 Lyon
The name of the place says it all, as Les Terrasses de Lyon means ‘the terraces (or rooftops) of Lyon' in French. If you want to delight your taste buds and your eyes, then pay a visit to this gourmet restaurant. This was a convent built in the 17th century, with its ocher-filled walls, it exudes an exotic Italian charm. Located on the heights of the lovely Fourvière hill, you can savor the chef Davy Tissot’s creative dishes on the terrace while enjoying the unique view of the city.
2. Ayers Rock Boat
Address: 21 Quai Victor Augagneur, 69003 Lyon
On sunny days, the banks of the Rhône are perfect for a little spree. Among the many houseboats, we particularly love the Ayers Rock Boat with the Australian ambiance and relaxed atmosphere. You can enjoy the magnificent sunset over the Hôtel Dieu and the Croix Rousse while sipping a mojito on the terrace with a lovely design. Come and join us with your friends!
3. Le Sucre
Address: 50 Quai Rambaud, 69002 Lyon
This must be the finest rooftop of the city! Located on the rooftop of an industrial building of the ’30s is Le Sucre, ‘The Sugar‘. It boasts a panoramic terrace of 400 m² right in the heart of the creative district, La Confluance. People come here for brunch with friends, discover underground exhibitions or clubbing until dawn. Whatever your preference, check it out!
4. Les Terrasses Saint-Pierre
Address: 20 Place des Terreaux, 69001 Lyon
A terrace in the historic center of Lyon, just under the lime trees and overlooking a serene cloister: This is the idyllic secret of the city, Les Terrasses Saint-Pierre, a hidden gem located on the first floor of the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon (Musée des beaux-arts de Lyon). This is the perfect place to enjoy innovative cuisine or to have some lemonade during your museum visits.
5. O Jardin
Address: 56, rue Saint-Pierre-de-Vaise, 9e
This enormous terrace (400 m²) is almost invisible from the street. Slightly far from the city center, in the district of Vaise to be precise, O Jardin definitely deserves your visit. Why?
