This policy ensures that if a dispute arises with your landlord regarding the return of your deposit, you’re covered, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.

How it works:

  • You’re covered up to the full deposit amount stated in the listing.
  • To qualify, tenants must provide photo or video evidence of the property’s condition within 48 hours after move-in and 48 hours before move-out.
  • Spotahome will protect your deposit if this documentation is clear and submitted on time.

Exclusions: Any damage or issue not documented at the beginning of your stay won’t be covered under this policy.
