Camden Town is one of the most edgy and alternative areas in London. Although newer developments can already be found in some parts, Camden is full of old-school London vibes that bring out an authentic atmosphere which attracts people with the same personality and style. While Camden Town attracts an impressive number of 28 million tourists annually, it’s home to more than 200,000 diverse residents.

Camden Town is a place for those who feel like they might not belong in the posh and prestigious side of the London life. It’s a place that's full of personality, a place to get yourself lost in the vintage shops of the Camden Market, a place to enjoy cuisine from around the world, a place to people watch, and a place that’s easily connected with the rest of London, served by the Northern Line that can take you to Central London in a matter of minutes.

Transport

Camden Town’s well-connected to London city centre with plenty of buses as well as the Camden Town and Mornington Crescent tube stations, both of which can take you to central London in just a couple of minutes on the Northern Line.

Price

The best place about Camden Town is that the area is pretty average when it comes to price. While you can definitely find some expensive parts of the neighborhood, there are plenty of places for people on a budget.

Monuments and Parks

Don’t forget to take a selfie with the statue of Amy Winehouse in Camden Market! Camden is also known for having one of the most beautiful parks in London, called Primrose Hill, where you can enjoy a fantastic view of some of London’s tallest buildings.
