5 Things To Do When in Warsaw

Whether you’re living in Warsaw or just visiting, you have to admit that this city is one of the most underrated European cities ever. Warsaw’s best known for diverse architecture, plenty of things to do, and a painful history you should definitely learn about if you ever visit this city. Lonely Planet calls it the story of rebirth - and once you explore this city you’ll definitely learn why.

Here are the 5 things to do when you’re in Warsaw!

1. Museums

The Museum of the History of Polish Jews represents a 1000-year long narrative of the history of Polish Jews. The eye-opening museum also focuses on events that tackle stereotypes, xenophobia and nationalistic prejudices. If you’re looking for a museum that will teach you about the painful Jewish history while promoting openness and mutual understanding, POLIN is the place to be.

Warsaw also offers plenty of opportunities to learn about science. The centre is fairly young - it opened its doors in 2010, but the idea behind it dates back to the 90s. The museum offers a hands-on approach to discovering science - it even has an awesome planetarium!
