10 London Coffee Shops You Have To Visit
London might be known as the ‘big smoke’ to many, but to me, it’s also the city where I can get some of the best coffee ever. One of my favorite things to do in this city is to spend my mornings walking around the busiest parts of this city and breathing the smell of freshly made coffee. The coffee culture in London is definitely strong and it should be explored by any coffee-holic. As a bonus point, most of these coffee shops are also totally suitable for freelancers! Win-win!
1. TAP Coffee
TAP coffee can be found in several locations in central London. It’s one of those quirky Instagrammable coffee places that instantly makes your feed look ten times better. Their tagline is ‘coffee taken seriously’ and it’s definitely true. And as a bonus, this place is also friendly to freelancers who are in need of a new work scenery!

2. Monmouth Coffee
If you’re a coffee-holic, you’ve probably heard about Monmouth Coffee, but if you’re not, you definitely will. The queue to get coffee in this place sometimes runs outside of the shop, meaning it’s definitely a must-try. The shop has been around since 1978 and it takes pride in sourcing ingredients you can easily track. Note that this place is almost always packed, so using it as a shop to spend a lot of time in is probably a no-go.

3. Department of Coffee and Social Affairs
Yup, that’s the actual name. There are several branches all around London and they’re all worth a visit. The coffee’s amazing every single time, but the place can get really full during busy hours. This quirky cafe can’t and shouldn’t be missed - and the best part is you can find it in several areas in central London!
4. Kaffeine
Kaffeine is the pace to go for everyone looking for the best Cortado in London - if you’re Spanish, you’ll know what this is and if not, you should still try it. The shop was inspired by coffee culture in Australia and New Zealand, which means you’ll only get the best of the best. Along with a strong coffee game, their sandwich game is pretty amazing - fried egg brioche is very recommended.

5. Prufrock
If you’re a true coffee-holic, you probably already know Prufrock. Along with having amazing coffee, Prufrock is all about the community - they offer certified barista courses, brewing courses, and other events that will take your love for coffee to a new level. I love the friendly atmosphere here and, of course, the coffee is also irresistible too.

6. The Association
Coffee places in London make you feel like you’re a part of an exclusive VIP member club, and The Association is not different. Along with a powerful name, the place is totally Instagrammable and a perfect cafe for freelancers. Quality and simplicity is what The Association is all about and it’s definitely worth a visit.

7. Ozone
As their statement says, they’re coffee roasters and hospitality experts. I love Ozone for its friendly atmosphere everytime I come in. Make sure you order a poached egg while you’re there - totally worth it! Fun fact: they also have a coffee shop in New Zealand!

8. Look Mum No Hands
Cycling cafes are always something special and Look Mum No Hands is no exception. How could it be with such quirky name? You can find some of the best coffee here along with workspace for freelancers. On top of that, Look Mum No Hands holds plenty of community events and it can also fix your bike!

It’s rare to find coffee places in Queen’s Park area, but Dark Habit Coffee makes up for that. Again, they also prove that not much is needed when it comes to good coffee and they’re here to support your coffee habits, no matter how outrageous they are!
