Just 10 minutes from Pontremoli, in the cool and verdant Lunigiana, a brand-new CO-LIVING SPACE FOR CREATIVES AND DIGITAL NOMADS has just been born. It consists of five apartments overlooking the charming courtyard of a former medieval convent, in the center of a small village surrounded by nature. One of the apartments is the main one, while the others are intended for hosting guests, although currently only two are ready and furnished: 1) THE SMALL APARTMENT and 2) THE LARGE APARTMENT, which can be rented either as a whole unit or as individual private rooms. This listing refers to the large apartment. Guests will share the OUTDOOR SPACES (courtyard, balconies, terrace, and garden) with the other guests of the co-living and with the hosts. PARKING is free, open, and located just 20 meters from the main entrance of the co-living. Spaces are not reserved, but there is plenty of room for cars. THIS APARTMENT is spread over multiple levels and is the largest in the co-living. It is accessed via the same large balcony overlooking the courtyard that leads to the small apartment. The entrance opens directly into a spacious living room with a large stone fireplace, a three-quarter sofa bed, and three windows overlooking the village’s main street. From the living room, two small internal staircases lead off. The first staircase, embellished with an ancient holy water font, leads up to the hallway of the sleeping area, from which both bedrooms and the first bathroom (with shower) can be reached. One of the bedrooms has two single beds that can be joined to form a double. In the sleeping area there is also a third room with a sofa bed, which can be used as a small study or as a single bedroom. The second staircase goes down to the convenient kitchen, from which one can continue to the second bathroom (with bathtub and washing machine) and to the second entrance of the apartment. PONTREMOLI enjoys a strategic location at the border of Tuscany, Liguria, and Emilia-Romagna. While the city of La Spezia is just half an hour away by car, Parma, Massa, Carrara, Lucca, Pisa, and Livorno can all be reached in about an hour, while Genoa, Florence, Bologna, and Milan are only slightly farther. This central location makes the town an ideal base for those who want to explore the villages and mountains of Lunigiana, as well as for those wishing to visit the coast and the main cities in the area without staying in crowded or overly expensive places. START WORKING, an association of young people who support digital nomads and anyone choosing to live in the area for at least a month, is also active in Pontremoli. Moving to a new place can be a challenge, but this is where Start Working makes a difference. This community, which also manages a free co-working space in the center of town, has become a point of reference for the development of new social connections: from professional networking to genuine friendships, including the simple sharing of hobbies and free time.
