Located in the heart of Barcelona city center, minutes from the Pompeu Fabra University and the Gothic Quarter, this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment offers two rooms for rent. The rooms are ideal for students or young professionals wishing to live close to transportation and major sites of the city. Being an interior, this flat protects tenants from outside noise. The neighborhood of the flat, El Raval, is a lively and diverse area with culture to match its history. The Cathedral of Barcelona is reachable in 9 minutes and the Boqueria Market, with all its tasteful delights, is a 6 minute stroll away.

A simply furnished room with a window that looks out to the interior patio. The room is furnished with a single bed, desk, and a standalone wardrobe.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is in a central location, with various metro lines within a 10 minute walk.
  • L3 is a 3 minute stroll and this line will take you directly to the Polytechnic University of Catalunya and the university area of the city.
  • The rooms would be ideal for students of Pompeu Fabra University, located a few minutes away by foot.
  • Both rooms feature windows that look out to different interior patios.

Things to keep in mind

  • The apartment building does not have an elevator.
  • The flat does not have a living room area, but the kitchen has a dining table where tenants can enjoy their meals.
  • The apartment is not equipped with a TV

Landlord policies

1. TYPE OF CONTRACT

Lease agreements are governed by the Urban Lease Law (LAU). The duration is set for an initial period of one year (with a minimum stay of 6 months).

Contracts always start on the 1st day of the month and end on the 30th/31st. The monthly rent is paid for a full month (regardless of the check-in or check-out date).

The draft contract is sent one week before your arrival at the apartment for review, and the original copy, signed and stamped, is delivered at check-in only after the payment of the security deposit and any pending fees.

2. PAYMENTS TO BE MADE AT CHECK-IN:

a) Security deposit: 2 months b) Utilities & Monthly Expenses:

  • €100 for rooms (TO UPDATE) Distributed as follows: 20€ water, 40€ electricity, 10€ Wi-Fi, 20€ monthly maintenance and cleaning of common areas, 10€ taxes (IBI)

  • €200 for studio apartments

c) Management fee: €50 (only paid once, at check-in)

d) Check-in fee:

  • Monday - Friday 10:00 to 14:20: free

  • Monday - Friday 14:30 to 18:00: €20

  • Monday - Friday 18:00 to 20:00: €40 (subject to availability)

  • Saturday, Sunday, and holidays 11:00 to 18:00: €40 (subject to availability)

  • No check-ins after 20:00 (except in exceptional cases and subject to availability; €50)

  • Surcharges: Every 30 minutes of delay not previously notified will incur an additional €10.

  • The check-in fee must be paid in cash only, without change.

NOTE:

  • Payment methods at check-in: bank transfer or cash (no cards)

  • Entry to the apartment and key handover will only take place after full payment of all these amounts.
