    Why do I need these documents?

    Landlord policies

    • Please note that the deposit payment would have to be settled either upon transfer of the rent or at least up to 4 weeks before moving in.
    • Deposit cash payment is not possible.
    • Ideal for 1-2 people. If you rent the flat with 3 people the price will be 300€ more per month.
    • The tenant agrees to be in possession of liability insurance!
    • The usual house rules must be observed, no disturbance of the peace between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
    • The rental price includes the average service charges for the flat (Calculation from the determined consumption data of the last years).
    • The tenant undertakes to ensure sufficient ventilation of the flat in order to avoid possible mold formation due to humidity.

    How to book

    With Spotahome, in-person visits are a thing of the past. Our team verifies the property to offer video tours and photos so you can view them online. We collect all the information you need to make your decision.
    With just a few simple details you can request the property and it will be held for you until you get a response. Remember, we won't charge you until the Landlord confirms.
    The Landlord has 24 hours to respond to your booking request. If they accept, your payment method will be charged and we will put you in contact with the Landlord. If they don’t accept, no worries, you won't be charged and we'll help you find alternatives.
    The safety of our tenants and owners is our priority.

    Once your reservation at this property is accepted, we will ask you for some additional information. It will only take you a few minutes and you will only need the following documents:

      Identification document (ID card or passport)
    • Proof of solvency
      Documents proving your financial solvency for rent payments (e.g., recent pay slips, bank statements...)
    • Direct debit of the rental payment
      Monthly rent payments are done through our platform on this property. We'll charge you automatically each month using direct debit, without any extra cost.
    Arrange your move-in date, key collection and anything else directly with your Landlord. As an extra security step, we will only transfer the first month's rent to the Landlord 48 hours after you move in, unless you contact us with a problem.

    If you’re considering an early exit from your lease, it’s important to let your landlord know 30 days in advance unless your agreement specifies otherwise. Failing to provide this notice means you’re still liable for the rent during that period, even if you’ve moved out.
