Spotahome's opinion

This 3rd floor, 1-bedroom apartment for rent on Stirnerstrasse is great. The bathroom, which has a glass shower stall and a washing machine, is directly in front of the apartment door. The combined kitchen and dining room is to the left. It’s stylish and furnished with a 6-seat dining table, wardrobe, and bookshelves. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher To the right of the door is the living room. It has a unique, trendy style. It’s furnished with a sofa, armchair, TV, and huge bookshelf. It also contains a modern fireplace and an office corner. After a long day, and a couple of glasses of wine on the balcony, you can relax into the comfort of your homey bedroom.

Steglitz is a wonderful residential neighborhood. It’s not too suburban, though. The Schlossstrasse is the second-largest shopping area in West Berlin, and it’s a 20-minute bus ride away. It’s also filled with ambitious architecture, like the Steglitzer Kreisel high-rise. Closer to home is Steglitz Park. It’s a great place to sneak away for a romantic stroll, picnic, or a run. And it’s only 8 minutes away. There is a Penny-Markt Discounter supermarket around the corner. But it’s likely that you’ll be tempted by the diverse range of restaurants near your apartment and in the neighborhood.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment seems trendy at first glance, but it’s bursting with warmth and charm.
  • Your new home has a balcony with two comfy armchairs. A great spot for a nightcap.
  • It’s only a half-hour transit ride to the city center.
  • There is an ice-skating rink and public swimming pool less than 20 minutes away.
