Spotahome's opinion
This studio apartment to rent on Massower straße is located on the 2nd floor. The front door opens into a small hallway from where you can reach the bathroom and the bright studio space. In the vestibule there is a a small rack for your shoes, as well as a standalone wardrobe. The bathroom is tiled and includes shelving, as well as a tub where you can relax if you aren’t in a rush. In the studio is an eclectic, yet cool home-built sofa, a funky coffee table, double bed, desk and chair as well as other pieces of trendy furnishings. The kitchen is slightly set off from the living and sleeping area. It’s spacious, modern and fully equipped. And it includes a combined washer and dryer, as well as a small dining table.
Lichtenberg has a history dating back to the 13th century. While it’s not a hub of tourism, you’ll find a few popular sights to visit, including Friedrichsfelde Castle, which is 12 minutes away. If you enjoy sports, then you might be able to catch a few events at the Friedrichsfelde Stadium, which is a 10-minute walk away in the opposite direction. In recent years there has been an influx of people from Asia, and the area has become known as Asiatown in the East, due to the neighborhood location from downtown Berlin. Vietnamese and Chinese bistros are plentiful, but there are pizzerias and German restaurants too. Shopping is easy with the Aldi supermarket 4 minutes away, and there is a nearby pharmacy and bakery too.
What we liked the most
- Recently renovated, all of the furnishings and appliances are new.
- There is a diverse range of Asian cuisine just minutes from your door.
- You’ll find a few interesting tourist sights within walking distance.
- Depending on the mode of public transportation used, you’re a 15 to 30-minute ride away from downtown Berlin.
