Spotahome's opinion
This 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Rue Paul Devigne is modern and gorgeous. It has lots of windows and a standing room balcony, making it sunny and spacious. The first door you’ll come across when you walk down the main hallway is the open-plan kitchen, living and dining room. The kitchen is gorgeous and modern, and fully equipped. There is an island with 4 stools, and it can serve the dual purpose of extra counter space when cooking. The living area is furnished with a shelving unit, desk and chair, big flat screen TV and a very comfy sofa. The bathroom is across the hall from the kitchen, and has a shower stall as well as a washing machine. At the end of the hall are the two bedrooms. Both are huge with lots of storage space for clothes.
Schaerbeek is a terrific neighborhood north of the city center. You won’t find a huge number of tourists in this part of town, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t things to see and do. Josaphat Park, which is a 3-minute walk away, is a gorgeous place for a jog, or to just sit and relax. The park also has a mini-golf course and a cocktail bar. Just 9 minutes away you’ll find a rugby and a tennis club. And if you don’t mind a 12-minute walk, you can check out performances at La Balsamine Theater. Otherwise, the area takes care of all your needs. There is a nearby post office, pharmacy and grocery store.
What we liked the most
- The apartment decor is modern and comfortable, and the rooms are spacious.
- There is a football stadium and a tennis academy within an 8-minute walk.
- The nearby park is a great place for a stroll or a jog.
- The number 65 bus can take you downtown in 25 minutes.
