Spotahome's opinion
You don’t have to worry about elbow room in this 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Lakensestraat. It’s absolutely huge! Aside from the bathroom, which has a spacious shower, and the toilet room, the entire apartment has wonderful wood floors. The living and dining rooms are combined and get ample light from three windows. The area is furnished with a gorgeous 6-seat table, and modern sofa with a chaise, two chairs and a TV. One of the bedrooms has it all: tons of space for clothes, a double bed, sunny windows, and an ensuite bathroom with a tub, as well as a toilet room. The other is a bit smaller, but it still has a double bed, wardrobe and a window. The fully-equipped kitchen is roomy and has a cute 2-seat table with a window view. The kitchen also has a dishwasher and there is a washer and dryer in a closet near the entrance.
Everyone wants to live in the City Center and that’s exactly where your new home is located. You'll be surrounded by culture in this neighborhood. You’ll be close to Wallonie Bruxelles National Theater, which is a large performing arts center. The Royal Flemish Theater is also within a 5-minute walk and the UGC De Brouckère Cinema is nearby too. Also 5 minutes away is Martyrs Square and a little farther away is the Brussels Comic Book Museum. Just down the street you’ll discover a couple of bakeries, a cocktail lounge and an Italian restaurant. Closer to the Carrefour Market, which is a 6-minute walk away, you’ll find even more restaurants to check out.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is large, modern and gorgeous.
- You’re never more than a 10-minute walk away from delicious places to eat.
- There are some great theaters and concert venues nearby, so you'll always have weekend plans.
- Anspach Shopping mall is only an 8-minute walk away.
