Saint-Gilles is a vibrant, multicultural neighbourhood within easy reach of the city center. With affordable shops and restaurants, and a distinctly cool bohemian vibe, it's a firm favorite with locals. Public transport is easily accessible, and so is the international Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid train station.
What we liked the most
- Saint-Gilles is full of stunning Art Noveau houses and has a vibrant cultural scene - it's home to the annual festival of the Portugese community and other interesting events.
- The apartment has plenty of storage space.
- For a studio the the apartment is nice and spacious.
- The apartment uses space intelligently, with the bedroom set back and separated from the living area.
