We think this apartment is perfect for a couple looking for busy city living. This area is bursting with restaurants, bars, shops and cafés. You can catch the train to get around with ease too.

This is a roomy studio apartment on Rue de l'Epée, Brussels. Enjoy a generous open-plan living area and kitchen, and a semi-independent sleeping area.

We think this apartment is great for a couple of foodies, since you'll never run out of restaurants and cafés to try. Plus, be in the centre in just 15-minutes.

What we liked the most

  • Enjoying a pop of colour — those tiled sure do bring the space to life.
  • Feeling like you've got a 1-bedroom apartment — there's even a sofa bed in the living room for guests.
  • Walking into town — visit the Grand Place market for a great bargain, and stunning architecture.

Things to keep in mind

  • There isn't a dishwasher or oven available in the kitchen. You might not be hosting any major dinner parties here.
  • The flat wasn't fully furnished when we visited it, so any extra furniture that you can see in the photos (and that doesn't appear on the video) will be there when you move-in!
