This 1st floor, 1-bedroom flat to rent on Marcon Place has a great vibe. White walls are warmed with gorgeous hardwood floors. The bedroom has blue and red accents, a double bed, big wardrobe, and a large window. The bathroom has recessed ceiling lights. It also has a window and tub. The kitchen, living, and dining areas share an open-concept space. Again, you get brilliant light. You also have sliding doors that open to a balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washer/dryer machine. And the rest of the area is furnished with shelving, a sofa bed, and a 4-seat dining table.

Once a gritty area of east London, Hackney is now a thriving multi-cultural neighbourhood. Don’t be surprised to see a lot of hipsters, or a lot of people riding bikes. You can escape into the Hackney Downs park whenever you want. It’s 10 minutes away. London Fields is also nearby. There is plenty to do here. You can play snooker at the club across the street. You can catch an arthouse film at Hackney Picturehouse, which is also within a 10-minute walk. Hackney Empire theatre is close by, and so is the National Trust/Sutton House if you want to sight-see.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is really cool with huge windows, gorgeous floors, and a balcony.
  • The flat is located in a secure gated environment. A security fob is needed in order to enter.
  • You can get to downtown London in 10 minutes on the Overground or Greater Anglia rail.
  • The Tesco Superstore and Lidl supermarket are within a 15-minute walk.
  • Within a 10 minute walk, you’ll find craft beer pubs, sushi, Caribbean cuisine, and more.
