There are rooms to rent in this tidy 5-bedroom, 1-bathroom house on Halley Road in Newham. With 95 m² of space split over 2 floors, this house has a well-equipped kitchen with an oven and rangehood, as well as a bathroom on the ground floor. There is also a private garden which is a great space to relax outside.
There are a few shops and a bar just around the corner from this house, and there are even more stores along nearby Romford Road including a supermarket. The large Wanstead Flats park is only a half-hour away by bus, as is the London Aquatics Centre, so there are plenty of places to play some sport, or get some exercise.
Room description
Bedroom 1 is a cozy room with a double bed, as well as an independent key and heating unit. This upstairs room also has a chest of drawers and standalone wardrobe, as well as a window to let in plenty of light.
What we liked the most
- The house is close to public transport.
- The toilet is separate from the bathroom for added convenience.
- The kitchen comes with everything you need to cook including plates and pots.
- The University of East London, Docklands Campus is half an hour away by bus.
- Queen's Market is a 20-minute walk away.
Things to keep in mind
- Although there is heating, there is no AC.
- There is a washing machine but no dryer so clothes will need to be hung up to dry.
