Islington is located in east central London, and although this particular area is mainly a residential spot, the greater borough is rather swanky, with wonderful gastropubs and boutiques. There are plenty of local down-to-earth hangouts that might be easier on your pocket too. After all, you’re located 4 minutes away from the City University of London! Just across the street, you’ll discover a traditional fish and chips shop, a rustic pub, and a trendy café.
