The general property has a caretaker who cleans the staircase as this is communal space. The property is within a 3 to 5 walking distance to the bus stop; 10 minutes walk to the local shops where you can buy all the essential you might need. There is a post office, a pharmacy, doctor's surgery, butchers, off-licence/grocery shops, a Pub and a free withdraw ATM machine. The bus ride to East Croydon train station is 15-20 minutes and 8-10 minutes to West Wickham train station which goes to London Bridge; two choices of commuting to the city. There is also a number of big chain supermarkets nearby, and a lot of dinning out places. In summary, this is a good location even if you are commuting to and from the city; very easy and quick travel connections even to the Airport. It is a friendly neighbourhood.
