Spotahome's opinion
This 45 m², 1-bedroom apartment is available for rent on Calle de Fomento in Central Madrid. Despite being so spacious, the apartment has a very cosy feel, with the warmth of exposed wood and wall decorations. There are some very nice decorative features, such as the portholes high on one wall, and the geometric shelving. The kitchen is small but well-equipped, and still has plenty of storage and food preparation space.
You will be living in the heart of the city, just minutes from some of Madrid's major attractions such as the Palacio Real. Here, everything you need is within easy reach, with plenty of shopping along Gran Via, moments from your door, and in Callao, or in La Latina, about a 10-minute walk away. Nightlife surrounds you, with hip Malasaña a minute or two to the north, and Sol, the meeting place for the city's party-goers, a couple of minutes to the east. For a relaxing walk to rest after the bustle of city centre life, the palace gardens are close by, and a little further is the vast Casa de Campo.
What we liked the most
- The kitchen includes an oven, which can be hard to find in Madrid.
- We love the exposed woodwork and hardwood floors, and the porthole style windows.
- This is a spacious apartment, and will be comfortable for 2, or huge for one.
- You will be living in the heart of the city, close to everything!
