The style is in the details, with art-covered walls, colorful decor, and wood and tiled flooring. There is an open-concept kitchen and living room, separated by a breakfast bar. The bedroom has a sliding door, allowing you to add space to the apartment.
Malasaña is a popular neighborhood, loved for its traditional vibe mixed in with vintage boutiques and trendy cafes. The apartment is in the Code Duque area, with a cultural space of the same name, and plenty of restaurants and craft breweries nearby.
What we liked the most
- The floor tiling adds a lot of character, as well as the brick-style walls in the bathroom.
- A portable AC unit is included to keep you cool during the hot Madrid summers. (The Spanish name for these is "pingüino". It means penguin. Isn't that just the cutest?)
- Having guests will never be a problem, with the sofa-bed in the living room.
- The kitchen is small but still comes fully equipped with a dishwasher and a laundry room.
- The Universidad Pontificia Comillas is a 5-minute walk away.
- You have everything within walking distance, but also have 3 metro lines nearby.
