This 2-bedroom apartment has stunning high ceilings, plus exposed brick and ceiling beam details throughout. In the living room, you'll find a sofa, an armchair, a TV, a large window, and a wall of windows to bedroom 2. Both bedrooms have a double bed, bedside tables, a free-standing wardrobe, and an A/C unit. Bedroom 1 has the addition of an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen has new appliances including an oven, a dishwasher, and a full-sized fridge, plus a counter that doubles as a seating area. Both bathrooms in this apartment are handsomely decorated and have large shower units and towel warmers.

From this central location, you have easy access to everything you need. The city center is a pleasant walk or a short ride away, or you can head the opposite direction and reach the Madrid Río park on the banks of the Manzanares River. Every Sunday, nearby Calle de la Ribera de Curtidores fills up for El Rastro, Madrid's beloved street market, where there's always something new to discover. Also, the surrounding neighborhood is jam-packed with bars, restaurants, and cafes.

What we liked the most

  • The unique mirrored walls in this apartment make it extra bright.
  • The interior window walls do, too, but include curtains for when you want privacy.
  • The exposed brick and beams are very striking!
  • It's hard to beat this central location.
