The happening hangout
Because I want to meet new people
Will I like it here?
If you like socializing, yes. You'll have 9 other roommates so there will be a lot going on. The kitchen is big enough for some of you to cook a meal together. With two stoves, fridges, coffee pots, and sinks, you won't have to worry about bumping into each other.
Really? Tell me more...
You'll get a bit of natural light whichever room you're in – every bedroom has its own window. When you have to study for an exam, you can hunker down at your desk.
We think it's ideal for international students wanting to meet new people. Want to go to that new gallery show this weekend but have no one to go with? Ask some of your roommates. It'll be easy to get around the city with a Metro station just a few meters from your front door.
Your top 3 reasons to live here:
But you need to know this...
There isn't a common living room area. But you can walk over to the shopping center to hang out with friends.
Our Homechecker, Victoria, said:
“It's a very quiet residential area. But you can find everything you need. There is a shopping center just 15 minutes by walking.”
Give it to me straight...
This is a 4th floor, 10-bedroom apartment on Calle Jose Silva in Madrid. Whichever room you choose, you'll have your own window and desk to get work done. When you need a study break, you can chat it up with your roommates in the kitchen.
We think it's perfect for international students who love meeting new people. With 9 other roommates, you'll get a chance to talk with loads of other people.

Your historic, friendly home
Calle Alcalá is Madrid's main artery. It runs from Sol in the city centre to Canillejas on the edge of town.
On the way, it cuts Ciudad Lineal in two.
Ciudad Lineal isn't expensive. Or posh. Not like Salamanca next door. But it has the same fast metro and buses. So it's easy to get around town.
It's got Las Ventas bullring too. It's the biggest in Spain. (And the third biggest in the world.)
So no superstar struts the Saturday street...
So your bistro is a bar…
It really doesn't matter...
You get so much more for your money here.
Desperately seeking the good life on a budget?
Try Ciudad Lineal.
What can I do here?
Visit Las Ventas bullring to watch a bullfight or concert.
Try the Taberna Cazorla for Andalusian food and tapas. The Ensalada de tomate, pimiento rojo y bonito is smoky, sweet, and filling.
And when the bright lights of the big city call:
Puerta del Sol is a mere 20 minutes by metro.
It's all so easy, in Ciudad Lineal.
Ciudad Lineal was designed by famed utopian architect Arturo Soria. Modern.
