Casa de Campo
Your green, fun and adventurous home
Do you long for:
In Casa de Campo, fun and adventure are 1 metro stop away.
It's home to the Parque de Atracciones (Madrid's theme park). It's home to the Madrid Zoo and Aquarium. It's home to the epically relaxed cable car.
Casa de Campo has something for everyone, including you.
What can I do here?
If you love to exercise, rejoice. For here you have 1700 hectares of Mediterranean park to walk, run or bike.
The theme park has a rollercoaster ride called Abyss. It takes you 50 metres above the earth at 100 kilometres per hour. Rather you than me.
If that sounds strenuous, relax in the park, wander the zoo, or admire Madrid from above on the cable car. There's a lake circled by bars too.
By the way, 1 hectare is 10,000 square metres, so with 1,700 hectares, you have a lot of picnic space.
Early humans fact
The Casa de Campo area was inhabited by Paleolithic-era humans. Evolutionary.
