What is it like to live here according to the Landlord?

Es un pequeño apartamento, en el centro de Madrid pero en zona muy alegre pero al mismo tiempo tranquila. Estás a un paseo andando de la Plaza mayor, Puerta del Sol y Gran Vía y muy cerca de dos paradas de metro, bus y RENFE. Es un barrio muy castizo, en el corazón del Rastro. Aunque el domingo el barrio se llena de gente por el Rastro, el apartamento es silencioso, pues da a una calle tranquila. Cuentas con supermercados cercanos, y numerosas propuestas de ocio; cines, teatros, exposiciones, gimnasios bares y restaurantes. Yo vivo cerca y si lo necesitaras, estaría encantada de ayudarte.

This funky 3rd floor 39m² studio is located in one of the most fun and happening places to live in the city. This neighbourhood is famous for its great nightlife and the famous Rastro market held every Sunday. A great place for those who want to live close to it all.

What we liked the most

  • This flat has been renovated and is fully equipped with stylish, modern furnishings and appliances.
  • Despite being in the very centre of the city, the flat is in a quiet and peaceful street.
  • The location is unbeatable.

Things to keep in mind

  • This flat does not have a balcony, however it has many windows on all sides which let in plenty of natural light.
  • The famous Rastro market takes place in the next street every Sunday. While you shouldn't hear the market from this interior flat, expect the area to be much busier that day!

    Transportation

    Being in the centre there is a high concentration of metro stations in the area. La Latina and Puerta de toledo, both Line 5 are a short walk in one direction and Embajadores and Lavapies metros, both line 3, in the other. Embajadores also has local Cercanias trains (line C-5) which provides quick and easy access to the commuter towns to the south of Madrid.
