Compact apartment in a beautiful location near Porta Venezia is available to rent. The bijou apartment has smart wooden floors and light decor. It overlooks the apartment-block's courtyard, which means it's peaceful and also very bright. There's a bike rack if you should want to cycle around Milan. The apartment contains a lovely, spacious kitchen with a dining table for eating meals and gas hob for cooking, plus loads of cupboards. The bathroom is also a good size with a large shower while the bedroom has plenty of space for working or watching TV.
The apartment is in a pretty, residential street lined with shops, a lovely bistro and bars to grab a coffee on your way to the metro. It's 5 minutes to the main Porta Venezia train station where you can also catch the bus. Being such a busy district, there are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as the Arcobaleno movie house and a little supermarket. You'll also be just 2 minutes from the beautiful Indro Montanelli public gardens with a museum, planetarium and the grand 17th century Palazzo Dugnani villa. There's a lovely restaurant around the corner which serves delicious wood-fired pizzas.
What we liked the most
- Having a view over the courtyard is more peaceful than the street side.
- The extra storage in the bedrooms means you should have ample space to keep your belongings.

- The apartment is on the 2nd floor without an elevator.
