This stylish one bedroom apartment has one modern bathroom and a gorgeous open plan kitchen and living area. This 45 sqm apartment is interior but very sunny, and also has the added advantage of being silent, facing an interior courtyard rather than the street. It is situated on Via Garegnano, in the neighborhood of Gallaratese, a quiet area in the outskirts of Milan, right next to the stunning Garegnano Charterhouse, an impressive building which was a former Carthusian monastery. This location is ideal for couples looking to live in a traditional residential neighborhood, but also be within an easy commute from the town centre.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment has some cool gadgets to keep you entertained, including large flat screen TV, a modern Hi-Fi system and Wi-Fi.
  • For added comfort, there is central air-conditioning and natural gas heaters throughout the apartment.
  • The apartment receives good natural light with two big windows, one in the bedroom and the other one in the living area, from where you can see the stunning Garegnano Charterhouse.
  • In the hallway you will find the washing machine and also storage space for your towels or cleaning equipment.
  • There is a single sofa bed in the living area, allowing you to host visitors overnight.

Things to keep in mind

  • The kitchen is small, and doesn't have much bench space for food preparation, however it is very stylish and is equipped with all you need for cooking.
  • The apartment is located on the second floor, and the building doesn't have an elevator.
  • There are two other similar apartment available for rent within the same building, making it a good option for friends travelling to Milan together and wanting to leave close by, while having their own space.
