The house was built in the nineties in a green neighbourhood called "Le Terrazze", in the South of Milan. It has an elevator and a day-time concierge; all windows are equipped with mosquito nets (very conveniently so, if you know Milan). It is very well-connected to the city centre (around thirty min), most universities (Bocconi-Iulm: twenty min; Cattolica-Statale: thirty min) and stations (Cadorna: twenty-five min; Garibaldi: thirty-five min; Centrale: forty min); there is a huge park in walking distance. The area is lively with shops, bars, restaurants and a large supermarket. The people who live in "Le Terrazze" enjoy good air, peace and quiet which are otherwise rare in Milan.
The flat consists of two bedrooms, one of which is to be rented, with its own en-suite bathroom (tub and shower); kitchen and living room are to be shared with my daugher, a university student. She is fluent in English and German. It is fully equipped with wi-fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, food mixer, electric and microwave oven.
