A spacious 3rd-floor apartment is available to rent in the delightful Milanese neighbourhood of Ticinese. Brightly coloured with stylish furnishings, the apartment has a retro feel, while the windows offer views of the traditional Milanese neighbouring buildings. The Romolo metro station is only a 13-minute walk away.

Although once a working class area, Ticinese is becoming increasingly fashionable, with young professionals attracted by its restored penthouses and bustling nightlife. There is a diverse range of cafes and restaurants, as well as 2 canals with boat tours during the summer.

What we liked the most

  • The bathroom is fully tiled in turquoise, both pretty and convenient.
  • A bike rack​ located in the courtyard below means you can store your bicycle in safety.
  • The orange walls, blue fridge and other dashes of colour give the apartment a charming, quirky feel.
  • There are 3 supermarkets within close proximity to the apartment.
  • Being located close to the university campuses makes this an ideal apartment for students.

Things to keep in mind

  • The apartment does not have AC but it does have a fan and tiled floors to help keep it cool.
  • There is no parking but there is a secure bike rack.
