Open space on two levels in the heart of the Isola district which is located in a building next to the Bosco Verticale, near the Isola and Garibaldi metro stops.
This 55 m2 apartment is located on the ground floor, spread over two levels, and is characterized by being quiet (it overlooks the internal courtyard). The apartment opens onto the living area which includes a table for four, a sofa bed (190cmx146cm), a TV area, and a kitchen which includes a microwave oven and a washing machine. Also on the ground floor, there is a bathroom with a shower. A staircase leads to the mezzanine floor where the sleeping area is located which includes a double bed (200cmx160cm) and a walk-in closet. The sleeping area has a height of 182 cm. The sleeping area communicates with the living area with an exposed iron balcony. The flooring is parquet, the bathroom is ceramic. In the internal courtyard, it is possible to park bicycles and mopeds.
What we liked the most
Via Pastrengo is located in the district of Porta Nuova, the beating heart of the new Milan, between Piazza di Lombardia, which houses the modern building of Regione Lombardia, and the train station Porta Garibaldi. All around you find some of the most important buildings of Milan redevelopment project, including the Unicredit Tower - one of the highest skyscrapers in Italy - Piazza Gae Aulenti, set of many important cultural and fashion events, and the iconic architecture of the ‘Diamond Tower’. * has also chosen the area for its Italian offices (at the skyscraper Zigghurat or ‘Pyramid’, designed by William McDonough). Some of the facilities of the area: Supermarket open 7 days a week (including Sundays), 24 hours a day. Laundry, pharmacy and bakery. 3 gyms, about 1 km away (in Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Como and Piazza Cavour).
