This 1st floor studio apartment to rent on Via Privata Angiolo Maffucci is perfect if you enjoy a French balcony with good natural light and a street view. It’s also an ideal and decently spacious home. When you walk through the front door, you enter the open-plan space of the kitchen, living, dining and bedrooms. The bathroom, which is roomy and modern, is private, and it has a window and a wonderful shower stall that’s a little bigger than most. The main space is furnished with a comfy sofa that can be pulled out to a double bed, as well as a 2-seat table and wall-mounted flat screen TV. The one-wall kitchen is equipped and has everything you need. There's even a shared laundry facility in the building.
On the border between Dergano and Bovisa, your apartment is just a hop away from both Bovisa campuses of the Polytechnic University of Milan. If you’re a Design or Architecture student, this is excellent news: not only are you located just 5 minutes from campus Durando, but the formerly industrial area around you has recently started to become a veritable hub for artists and designers. Maybe you’ll want to check out the music school right across the street and learn a new instrument. Within a 5-minute walk from your new home, you’ll find wonderful little parks, restaurants, supermarkets, specialty and used book stores, you name it.
What we liked the most
- The studio is fairly spacious and the French balcony overlooking the street is a perfect touch.
- There is a small park right across the street if you feel like having lunch outdoors without walking to the larger Nicolò Savarino Park, which is 12 minutes away.
- You are close to Milan’s Polytechnic School of Design, as well as the Congusto School of Cooking and Pastry.
- The neighborhood has great public transport connection to get you to downtown, or anywhere else in the city.

- There are several bus stops nearby. The closest one is just 50 meters outside your front door and serves route 82.
- Four minutes away, at Piazza Giovanni Bausan, you can hop on bus 92 or catch tram number 2, which will quickly take you downtown.
- You're within walking distance of two railway stations: Milano Bovisa is a little over 10 minutes away; Milano Lancetti is a little over 15 minutes.
