This studio apartment to rent on Via Enrico Cosenz is ideal for students. The front door opens directly into the open-plan living space with wood flooring. A large shelving unit separates the bedroom area from the dining area and entrance. The space is furnished with twin beds, a night table and a 2-seat dining table. There is an equipped one-wall kitchen, which has a fridge, microwave and 2 plate induction stove. Through a second door you’ll find a little hallway which leads to the spacious bathroom, where you’ll find the washing machine.
Bovisa is a neighborhood north of downtown Milan, and you can easily get there within 20 minutes by public transportation. The best thing about living here is how close you are to the Milan Polytechnic School. In fact, you’re just an 8-minute walk away! With this in mind, you’ll find plenty of restaurants filled with students, and the Spirit of Milan, which is a live music, meeting place and cocktail bar, is just a 6-minute walk away. In terms of more practical everyday needs, there is a bank, bakery, market and a library within a 10-minute walk.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is spacious and you get your own private garden!
- Keep your feet toasty warm all winter long – the studio has underfloor heating!
- You can sleep a little later every morning since you’re only an 8-minute walk from Politecnico di Milano.
- There are dozens of restaurants and student bars within a 10-minute walk.
- The market isn’t too far away, and there is a bakery just down the street.
Things to keep in mind
- There were 2 single beds at the time of our visit, but beds will be provided as required. 1 bed for 1 person, 2 beds for 2 people.

- There are several bus stops nearby. The closest one is just outside your front door and serves route 82.
- 8 minutes away, at Piazza Giovanni Bausan, you can hop on bus 92 or catch tram number 2, which will quickly take you downtown.
- The Milano Bovisa railway station is only 10 minutes away on foot.
