Spotahome's opinion

It's a 154 sqm triplex apartment with a rooftop. You will find a community kitchen and three huge living areas in the flat. The kitchen is fully equipped with two fridges, a combiner's oven and a coffee corner. The main living room has a dining / working table as well as a sofa area incl. smart tv. The two other living rooms are on the third floor with direct access to the rooftop (exclusive for our co-livers). Next to it there's a cinema area with a projector for long movie nights.

The Charonne district used to be a village before becoming part of the city of Paris in 1860. It now belongs to the 20th arrondissement, and has kept the charm of the capital's old suburbs, with its cobbled streets and low-built houses. Place de la Reunion is located at the corner of the streets Alexandre Dumas, de Terre-Neuve, de la Reunion, Vitruvius, and du Sentier de la Pointe. The building can be reached on line 2 at the Alexandre Dumas station and by line 9 at the Maraichers station, as well as bus line 26. The farmers market runs on Thursdays and Sundays from 7am to 2.30pm.

Firstly, please grab the following documents. You’ll need them in the next stage of your application, and you won’t be able to make a booking without them.

If you are a professional, you need to provide:

Landlord policies

Please notice: COUPLES are only allowed in bedrooms with private bathroom, for an extra monthly amount of 20€ (ONLY FOR MADRID, MILAN AND LISBON). Check among the features of the bedrooms! :)

  • Registration / Anmeldung possible

  • Rental contract termination period: 2 months (3 months for properties located in Italy and Germany)*
  • Payment methods: (credit/debit) card or SEPA

  • Age requirements:
    • Room: 20 - 39 years old (18 - 39 years for bedrooms located in Italy)
    • Studio and one bedroom apartments: no age requirements (from 18 years old on)

  • Required documents:
    • ID / Passport
    • Proof of income

  • Only single occupancy for rooms
  • Overnight guests permitted: yes
    • Maximum nights per month: 5

  • Check-in/out:
    • Check-in hours: Monday-Friday 10:00-18:00
    • Check-out hours: before 12:00
    • No check-in on bank holidays and weekends

  • There must be at least three business days between booking date and check-in date

  • The deposit and the landlord admin fee ("membership fee") must be paid prior to check-in.

Electricity surcharge - Possible variable additional electricity charge of 50€ - 100€ / month based on electricity exchange rates. Please see the contract for details.

*The check-out date must be communicated to the landlord before the due date (see "rental contract termination period"), regardless of the date entered in the booking request. Otherwise, the rent for the missing months before the contract expiration will be required.

Although the type of contract is fortnightly, please notice that (as only exception) in December contracts can only end on 31/12.

How to book

With Spotahome, in-person visits are a thing of the past. Our team verifies the property to offer video tours and photos so you can view them online. We collect all the information you need to make your decision.
With just a few simple details you can request the property and it will be held for you until you get a response. Remember, we won't charge you until the Landlord confirms.
The Landlord has 24 hours to respond to your booking request. If they accept, your payment method will be charged and we will put you in contact with the Landlord. If they don’t accept, no worries, you won't be charged and we'll help you find alternatives.
Arrange your move-in date, key collection and anything else directly with your Landlord. As an extra security step, we will only transfer the first month's rent to the Landlord 48 hours after you move in, unless you contact us with a problem.
Remember: you have 24h to check your new home
If the property is significantly different to what our listing promised, let us know within 24h since you move in so that we can work to resolve it.
