    You just need to upload the photos after check-in to record the condition of the accommodation.

  2. Follow what’s agreed in the contract

    If you have taken care of the property, paid your bills and followed the rules, you are covered against unfair deductions.

  3. If the landlord does not return the deposit, we step in

    The landlord has up to 3 months to return it to you. If they do not, let us know so we can review your case and refund the deposit to you.

  4. We support you every step of the way

    If any questions or issues come up, our team is available to help you throughout the process.

If, when you arrive, you notice that the home does not match what you saw in the listing, you have 24 hours to let us know. Just tell us what differences you found and our team will work with you to find the best solution. We are here to help make your arrival as smooth as possible.

Before a listing appears on the platform, our team checks that the property is as it is shown. This can include an in-person or virtual visit, as well as photos and videos created specifically for Spotahome. We also cross-check the information in the listing directly with the landlord.

If you see a property that has not yet been verified, don’t worry: once you arrive, you will still have 24 hours to check that everything matches the listing and continue to be covered by our guarantees.

In addition, landlords also go through a verification process. We review their identity, contact information, history on the platform and that they comply with local regulations. All of this helps us offer you a safer and more reliable environment.

Yes. All our guarantees are included in the one-time booking fee you pay when you confirm your accommodation. You will not have to pay anything extra for them.
