Algirós houses the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia as well as the Campus de Tarongers of the Universitat de Valencia. Tarongers is home to the Social Sciences, Education, Law, and Economics departments of the university, as well as other research, audiovisual, and sports facilities. In Algirós you’ll find 3 main plazas: the Plaça del Cedro, Plaça de Hondures, and the Plaça del Xúquer where you can find plenty of bars and pubs. This area is ideal for those wanting to have their classes and nightlife all in vicinity to each other. In addition to the nightlife aspect, you’ll find an excellent selection of places to have tapas. The concentration of university campuses makes Algirós one of the most exciting and young areas of the city. Algirós also has efficient public transportation connections to the rest of the city and to the beautiful beaches of Valencia!

What we liked the most

  • All bedrooms are secure, having their own independent access keys.
  • There is a spacious living area furnished with a sofa, a dining table and a large flat screen TV attached to the wall. In this room you will find a ceiling fan and a hot and cold air-conditioning unit.
  • There are two fully equipped bathrooms, both featuring a shower, a toilet and a sink.
  • A convenient cleaning service of both common areas and bedrooms is included in the monthly rent.
  • There is a separate laundry room, where you will find the washing machine and other cleaning equipment.

Things to keep in mind

  • The balcony is fully enclosed, allowing you to use it regardless of the weather, but it overlooks an interior patio rather than the street.
