El barrio tiene una mezcla de edificios antiguos y modernos en los que la vida se parece más a la de un pueblo que al de una gran ciudad, llamado por esto precisamente la Vila de Gracia.
Al ser zona céntrica está perfectamente comunicado por todo tipo de medios de transporte, está al lado de varias estaciones de metro y de múltiples paradas de bus.
